Our team is comprised of energetic and motivated talents from diverse cultural, professional and academic background. We believe that diversity enhances team dynamics, which enables our firm to be the leading deal-maker in delivering quality legal services across a broad spectrum.
Our founding partner Mr. Henry Yu is a pioneer and specialist in the fintech and blockchain sector, and is one of the first blockchain lawyers in Hong Kong. Over the years, Henry’s enthusiasm for legal matters and his insightful views have been affirmed widely by various professional bodies. He has been sitting in various committee of the banking industry and he is also a member of the InnoTech Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong, and he is also the Honorary Legal Advisor to the Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia (IFTA). From time to time, he holds meetings with the Legislative Council member and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority on behalf of the Bitcoin community. Mr. Yu has previously served as the Deputy Head of Legal Counsel of a major Chinese investment bank after private practice in various international and Magic Circle law firms. He has rich experience in corporate and commercial, banking and finance, technology and litigation sectors. Our other partner Ms. Jennifer Chong has significant experience in handling commercial matters, intellectual property right matters and fund formation (e.g. private equity).
Our lawyers, trainees and legal supporting staff have received their education from Hong Kong and/or overseas. Some of our lawyers are dual qualified in Hong Kong and in various other major jurisdictions. Primarily operate in English, our team members speak many Asian and European languages, including Cantonese, French, German, Mandarin and Spanish.
